Question of the Month

Question of the Month
More than a year ago, my multinational company started a relationship with a company in Asia that produces copyrighted DVDs for us to distribute internationally.  Lately, we have suspected that goods are coming out of that factory bearing our company’s name, but are not accounted for by the manufacturer. In addition, we believe that these goods are being sold outside of our distribution channels. How can we ensure that our copyrighted materials are protected in the global marketplace?  Does ACC have any resources on protecting a company’s copyrights and how to halt counterfeit activity?

Answer: Yes. ACC has many resources on copyright enforcement issues in the global marketplace and developing real world strategies for protecting your company’s brand in developing economies.
