Community Service Day Needs Volunteers!

Colorado Chapter Joins Craig Hospital for National Community Service Day Event

Join your chapter members and bring your family and friends as we help our community.  On Saturday, October 7th, we will be observing National Community Service Day by helping Craig Hospital's Therapeutic Recreation Team host a barbeque and bike event for its patients.  The event will be on the grounds of Craig Hospital, located at 3425. S. Clarkson Street, Englewood from 10 AM until 4 PM. 

We need volunteers who are willing to cook, coordinate planned events for that day, help set up, spin records and assist the Craig Recreational staff in coordinating the patient biking events.  Plan on bringing your bike and join the Craig Staff in leading patients on rides of various distances, including a ride to Washington Park and back!

Craig Hospital is exclusively dedicated to the specialty rehabilitation and research for patients with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries.  Craig has treated more than 25,000 patients since 1956 - more spinal cord injury patients than any other single facility in the world.
