ACC Annual Meeting, eDiscovery Rules the Show

ACC's Annual Meeting was held in San Diego last week, October 23 through 25. As with each annual meeting, this year's meeting was spectacular, a major success from CLE programming to vendor and law firm exhibits to social networking events through the week. Colorado was well represented at the meeitng with over 40 of our members registered to attend!

You have probably already noticed the buzz regarding the new Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the critical changes that go into effect on December 1, 2006.  Most of the changes are critical eDiscovery rules that could affect every in-house lawyer facing litigation because eDiscovery requests, especially with respect to e-mail, are becoming more and more popular.

ACC's Annual Meeting held several sessions on this hot topic, and if you missed the meeting, we urge you to attend ACC Colorado's luncheon to be held on December 13 and graciously sponsored and hosted by the law firm Baker & Hostetler. Visit the chapter website to RSVP soon, space is sure to be limited: http://www.acc.com/php/chapters/index.php?page=55&cal_mode=event&event_id=1555.

Plan ahead and mark the date for next year's Annual Meeting to be held in Chicago, October 29-31!
