Communications
The Communications Committee produces the Chapter’s quarterly electronic newsletter, maintains the Chapter’s website, and coordinates with other Committees to ensure announcements of programs and events are circulated to members.
Diversity in the Practice
This committe works independently and in conjunction with other bar associations on The Pledge to Diversity and other issues of inclusiveness.
Membership
The Membership Committee strives to increase Chapter membership. The Committee tracks membership numbers, communicates with new and prospective members, and encourages lapsed members to renew. Committee members attend Chapter programs and events in an effort to make new members feel welcome.
Pro Bono
The Pro Bono Committee investigates and organizes opportunities for pro bono activities. The Committee secures member participation in pro bono services to local non-profit organizations.
Programs & Events
The Programs Committee coordinates educational and social programs for the Chapter. The Committee formulates a yearly program and events calendar. The Committee provides guidance to Sponsors on topics and locations for presentations.
Sponsorship
The Committee familiarizes sponsors with the Chapter and its activities. The Sponsorship Committee identifies and contacts potential sponsors for Chapter programs and events. The Sponsorship Committee develops sponsorship programs, including financial levels and recognition of sponsors.
