ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL CCU!

DELVACCA held its Second Annual Corporate Counsel University on November 13, 2006 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia.  Over 40 attendees, all corporate attorneys, came from companies throughout the Delaware Valley; Carpenter Technology, Pep Boys, Hercules, Inc., Johnson Matthey, Amtrak, ACE INA, Saint-Gobain, AIG, AAA Mid-Atlantic, just to name a few.

Our unique program, the only one offered in the tri-state area, is specifically designed by practicing corporate counsel to give solid, topical information to our colleagues and co-workers in the in-house arena.  One of the topics for this year's full afternoon program covered structuring and maintaining an ethical, professional, Corporate Compliance Program while also minimizing the firm's risks.  Another was planning and managing the firm's Litigation Program to achieve the desired result at the right cost.

A regular program feature of our Corporate Counsel University is in-house career development.  This year was no exception.  The Networking/Marketing Toolkit handout, specifically designed for in-house attorneys, was a standout.

See you next year.
