I hope you didn’t miss ACC’s July/August ACC Docket issue which focused on Career Planning. The articles are also available on-line. 2. InfoPAK
Also, see a (new?) InfoPAK on“Career Options for In-house Counsel” at: (http://www.acca.com/infopaks/caroptions.html <http://www.acca.com/infopaks/caroptions.html> ). It presents key techniques for pursuing new positions as well as strategies for the successful management of your career.
3. New Job site
I came across a new job site, www.corporatelawyerjobs.com . It cost $29 a month to get access. It automatically searches and harvests posting from other web sites. I found no posting on it that I had not seen elsewhere on the web. I canceled my membership after looking at it once.
4. Dues Waiver, Reduction
Did you know that if you go in-transition, you are entitled to receive a free year of ACC membership? And even, if you don’t find a job within one year, you can still renew your ACC membership the second year for $100 off the regular membership rate. The person who emailed me my Waiver of Dues form was Kristina Parker, parker@acca.com .
