The presenters will discuss the impact of these rules on patent procurement and valuation, specifically how rule changes limiting claims, continuation practice and other aspects will make patents more expensive to obtain, cover less subject matter, increase the risk of invalidation at trial, and generally reduce patent value. They will also provide recommendations on how to avoid the more likely pitfalls.
