Overview
Stacy Taylor, co-chair of DLA Piper's Medical Device group, will provide an overview of the regulatory pathways for medical device approval in the US (including California state requirements) and Europe, as well as patent term extensions available to offset time spent in the regulatory process. Bruce Jenett, co-chair of the firm's Global Life Sciences Sector, will offer dealmaking tips for California-based device and diagnostics companies working toward a potential acquisition or merger.
