* Keyways Vineyards & Winery

Family style lunch provided in addittion to tasting at Maurice Car"rie Winery.

Presenation summary:

In-house counsel have unique ethical imperatives - different from any other attorney or business professional - and must frequently navigate through the field of ethical landmines.  This CLE session takes you through real-life, cutting-edge ethical issues specific to the role of in-house counsel, including: government forcing attorneys to act as "gatekeepers" for their corporate clients; dual representation when both companies and individual officers are under investigation; advising corporate clients to waive the attorney-client privilege when under investigation; e-discovery and its ethical challenges; the crime-fraud exception to the attorney-client privilege; the self-defense exception to the attorney-client privilege; outside counsel requesting advance waivers of conflicts; and protecting client confidences in the blogging-Twitter era.

Notes

Please plan to arrive at the pick up location prior to the departure time of 11:30 AM. The motor coach will leave precisely at 11:30 AM.

Space is limited so register early!
